Acting Out is a
non-profit organization formed to provide a place where children and young
adults are encouraged to develop their full creative potential through the
performing arts. We offer dynamic, unique, and constantly evolving
programs. All areas of the performing arts are incorporated in our programs
with a keen focus on acting and dancing.
Most activities will be open-ended and
enjoyed on a walk-in basis.
Acting Out is staffed by working performers,
and all structured activities will be led by master level instructors. Acting
Out offers an experience to children that will increase awareness in the
performing arts and create an audience for the performing arts that cannot
be duplicated.
Our facility houses three multi-functional studios and a dance auditorium. Our auditorium is dedicated to the presentation of performing
arts productions of works created by children and young adults. These
presentations will provide a venue for our company performers, as well as
other area performers, to showcase their talents.

Our facility will
also house an extensive library that contains high quality books, computers,
videos, etc. about actors, dancers, musicians, etc. We will also
provide an online resource library for adults who are interested in furthering
their knowledge of the performing arts. Our resource shop will sell affordable,
high-quality performing arts supplies.
We offer special industry-led workshops and performances on a daily basis. These workshops are available for children from the age of 5 to young adults to the age of 25. In addition to the daily activities we host monthly performing art showcases featuring casts of children and young adults from within the organization. We also host seasonal special events, after school programs, and summer youth camps.
